I had a wonderful time at BBC Aberdeen a few weeks ago recording some songs for the BBC Radio Scotland Travelling Folk Christmas Special!
Bruce MacGregor hosted the show, and formed the house band with his Blazin' Fiddles bandmates, Anna Massie (guitar, mandolin, song), and Angus Lyon (piano, accordion), and the guests were Megan Henderson and Ewan Robertson (fiddle, guitar, song), of Breabach; and me.
We had a rare afternoon of music-making, mince-pie-eating, and (most importantly) hand-washing, and we recorded the show in the evening. I played some of the songs from This Ill Deeds (accompanied by Anna and Angus), and some others as well.
