I'm so pleased to have been featured in David Benedict's Mandolin Mondays video series.
The series is a great resource that showcases mandolin players of different styles from all over the world - it's something I would have been grateful for when I was first learning! Some of my favourite mandolin players, like Matt Flinner, Emory Lester, Sierra Hull, and Chris Thile have been featured in previous episodes.
Here I am playing a great 2/4 march, Hugh Alexander Low of Tiree (comp. Hugh Campbell), which I learned from one of the Scots Guards pipe books. I really enjoy playing 2/4 marches, and I like the challenge that often comes with learning them.
