TEACHING

Calum McIlroy5.JPG

As well as performing as a solo artist and in a variety of groups, Calum offers instrumental tuition for guitar and mandolin.

After moving to Glasgow in 2016 as a self-taught musician, Calum began gaining teaching experience through established organisations like Glasgow Folk Music Workshop, and Scots Music Group. Through Fèisean nan Gaidheal he has tutored at Fèis Bharraigh (Barra), Fèis Latharna (Oban), and Fèis Dhùn Èideann (Edinburgh).

Calum has experience in leading group workshops and teaching one-on-one lessons, and he has the skills to cater for a wide range of abilities.

Whether you are an absolute beginner, or you are an experienced guitarist/mandolinist looking to push yourself further, do not hesitate to get in touch.

Calum is a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) and is cleared to work with children and vulnerable adults.
